FULL-ARCH DENTAL IMPLANTS · BEND, OREGON
Full-arch dental implants.
A specialist foundation.
Full-arch treatment is more than a new set of teeth. At Bluebird, board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeons build the surgical foundation, working with experienced restorative dentists in Bend through an all-digital workflow.

A FIXED SMILE WHILE YOU HEAL
Fixed teeth. Same day or next day.
For eligible patients, our coordinated workflow supports delivery of a fixed temporary bridge (hybrid denture) on the day of surgery or the next day.
Your final restoration follows healing, with a plan tailored to your bite, smile, and long-term care.
Timing depends on bone quality, implant stability, and your surgeon’s assessment. Immediate fixed teeth are not appropriate for every patient.
Specialist surgery. Not general dentistry.
Surgery is our focus—not an added service.
Bluebird is an oral and maxillofacial surgery practice—not a general dental office offering implants alongside routine dental care. Your surgery is performed by board-certified surgeons with advanced training in surgery of the mouth, jaws, and face. We focus on implant position, stability, and bone and soft-tissue management with long-term function in mind.
Dedicated roles. One coordinated team.
Rather than asking one general dentist to handle every stage, we pair focused surgical care with experienced fixed-hybrid restorative dentists and denturists in Bend. Bluebird manages the surgical foundation; your restorative team leads the design, fit, bite, and ongoing care of your new teeth. Established communication and shared digital records connect the plan.
Oral and maxillofacial surgeons complete at least four years of hospital-based surgical residency after dental school.
Four ways to replace a full arch.
The implants are the foundation; the prosthesis is your new set of teeth. Removable overdentures and fixed bridges meet different needs. We plan the surgery with your restorative dentist around the design that fits your anatomy, smile, and daily care.

FIXED · TEETH + GUM REPLACEMENT
Fixed hybrid · FP3
Fixed teeth with a pink gum-colored component.
An FP3 restoration replaces the teeth and recreates missing gum contours with pink prosthetic material. It stays in place day to day and is removed by your dental team when clinically indicated. The design accounts for tissue loss, smile line, lip support, and cleaning access.
Daily care: clean beneath the bridge and around the implants with a water flosser; attend regular professional maintenance visits.

FIXED · TOOTH-ONLY REPLACEMENT
Fixed bridge · FP1
Fixed teeth without a pink prosthetic gum base.
An FP1 restoration replaces the visible tooth crowns while using your natural gum contours. It requires favorable existing or reconstructed bone and soft tissue, along with careful implant positioning. It is not suitable for every patient and is not automatically better than FP3.
Daily care: clean around the bridge and implants using the techniques recommended by your restorative dentist - typically a water flosser.

REMOVABLE · INDIVIDUAL ATTACHMENTS
LOCATOR overdenture
Snap-in teeth on individual implants.
A removable denture clicks onto low-profile attachments on the implants. You remove it for daily cleaning. The implants provide retention, while the gums also help support this type of denture. This is only an option for the lower teeth.
Daily care: remove and clean the denture and attachments. Retention inserts need periodic maintenance.

REMOVABLE · CONNECTED IMPLANTS
Bar overdenture
A removable denture over a custom bar.
A custom bar connects multiple implants, and the denture attaches to that bar for support and retention. The bar stays in place; you remove the denture at home. Space for cleaning and the shape of the restoration are planned together.
Daily care: remove the denture and clean around and beneath the bar, as instructed.
The right design starts with your anatomy—not a package.
FP1 and FP3 describe what the restoration replaces, not its material or the number of implants. Bone and gum support, smile line, lip support, bite, hygiene access, health, and budget all help guide the recommendation. Not every design is appropriate for every patient.
One connected, all-digital workflow.
Your 3D imaging, digital impressions, implant measurements, and restoration design form one connected workflow. Your surgical and restorative teams share digital information from the first plan through the fabrication of your new teeth.
01 · CAPTURE
Build your digital record
3D imaging and digital impressions capture your bone, gums, teeth, and bite, giving the team a detailed starting point for treatment.
02 · PLAN
Plan the teeth and surgery together
Your surgeon and restorative dentist plan implant positions around the intended teeth, available bone, bite, and access for cleaning.
03 · TRANSFER
Record the implant positions
After placement, digital measurements capture the positions of your implants and give the restorative team the information needed to design your bridge.
04 · CREATE
Design, fabricate, and verify
Digital design and fabrication support same- or next-day temporary fixed teeth for eligible patients. Your team checks fit and bite; the final restoration follows healing.
